Ananya Panday was born on October 30, 1998, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to actor Chunky Panday and costume designer Bhavana Pandey. She has a younger sister named Rysa. Her grandfather, Sharad Panday, was a renowned Indian heart surgeon, while her uncle Chikki Panday is involved in business, and her aunt Deanne Pandey works as a wellness coach.

She attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School until 2017 and was part of Vanity Fair’s Le Bal des Débutantes event in Paris in 2017.

 

Career

Ananya Panday stepped into acting in 2019 with “Student of the Year 2,” a teen drama alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, produced by Dharma Productions. Despite mixed reception, her potential was noted by critics, although the film faced commercial challenges at the box office.
