Born on March 28, 1979, as Masud Rana in Ragadhi, Muksudpur, Gopalganj, Bangladesh, Shakib Khan grew up in Maksudpur Upazila. His father, Abdur Rab, a government officer, and mother, Nurjahan, fostered a family that included a sister and a brother. Due to his father’s job, Shakib moved across cities during his school years but embraced the changes.
Despite excelling in academics, particularly in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) exams, Shakib’s dream of becoming a doctor or engineer shifted.
